Video footage of female students taking a bath at a private university in Mohali has created a stir in Punjab. The police arrested the accused student on Sunday morning when the students started protesting on the campus on Saturday evening. The SSP of the district made a video of the students taking a bath and told where the students were sending the accused student.

According to the SSP, the accused student told him that he did not record the video of any other student during interrogation. The video he sent was recorded by himself. The SSP will check the mobile phone of the accused. According to the police officer, there is wrong information in this case.

There is enough evidence to make a case, but more evidence needs to be gathered. The SSP said that the accused student used to make this video and send it to someone in Shimla. As part of our investigation, we are trying to find out why the videos were sent there.
Police have ruled out suicide
Meanwhile, the SSP has denied the allegation of suicide. According to him, we are not aware of any suicide attempt.
In this case, a complaint has been registered under Section 354C of the IPC and Sections 66A and 67A of the IT Act. Around 7:30 pm on Saturday, the students created a ruckus in the university hostel. The student allegedly made a video of her taking a shower. This video of the student’s commotion has gone viral on social media.
