Sachin’s shot won the hearts of fans
The video of Sachin’s great batting is going viral on social media. In a match of the Road Safety series, the legendary Indian team took on New Zealand. Sachin started the game. A superb hook from Sachin Tendulkar turned into a boundary off Shane Bond’s delivery.
Both fans and bowlers were stunned to see Sachin’s shot. When I saw him, it didn’t seem like he retired about 10 years ago. Similarly, another video has gone viral in which Sachin hits an off-side four on the backfoot. It was also the great timing of the shot that won over the fans. According to fans who shared the video, Sachin is playing better than many young players.

The match could not be completed due to rain
The match was postponed due to rain. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl. Sachin Tendulkar and Naman Ojha opened the opening match for India. The match lasted about five overs before it was stopped by rain. India scored 49 runs for the loss of one wicket in 5.5 overs. When the match stopped, Sachin was on 19 off 13 balls with four fours, while Suresh Raina hit a six to remain unbeaten on a personal score of 9.
At Sachin’s request, tribal children also joined
On Monday, Sachin Tendulkar gave 55 tribal children from Madhya Pradesh’s Sehore district a chance to watch the match at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. A charitable organization, the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF), sponsored the invitation.
Tendulkar, who batted briefly during the match, visited the Holkar Stadium with his teammates and expressed his gratitude to the 20,000 spectators who waited until the last minute for the match to resume. Tendulkar works closely with Vinayak Lohani’s Family Foundation to improve the lives of tribal children in Madhya Pradesh through STF.
