Gulshan Grover was born on 21 September 1955 in New Delhi. He did his primary education from Delhi. Masters in Commerce from Delhi University. It is said that Gulshan Grover was fond of acting since childhood. That is why he started his acting career immediately after completing his studies.

Every morning I used to sell detergent powder for dishes and laundry in a big cupboard away from my house and pay my school fees.

Gulshan Grover started his career with theater and stage shows. Here he learned the finer points of acting and then moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams. After moving to Mumbai, Gulshan Grover joined an acting school again. After learning here for a few days, he himself started teaching others the finer points of acting. Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Mazhar Khan were also classmates of Gulshan Grover in this acting school. Gulshan Grover has acted in more than 400 films in his career.

Among Gulshan Grover’s films, Hum Panch, Sony Mahiwal, Yes Boss, Dudh Ka Karj, Izzat, Saudagar, Kurban, Ram Likhan, Insaaf Kaun Kareega, Avatar, Criminal, Mohra, Dilwale, Hindustan Ki Kasam, Hera Pheri, in addition to international Khiladi. His list includes many films. He has worked not only in Bollywood but also in many language films like Hollywood, German, Australian, Iranian and UK.
