Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is releasing in theaters today. As the film is booked in advance, both the exhibitors and distributors are expecting the film to do well. He hopes Ranveer and Alia’s Brahmastra can do what many big budget Bollywood films have failed to do this year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.

Advantage of advance booking in Brahmastra

The VFX and grandeur starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have made a positive impact on the audience. It is known only by looking at the advance booking of the film. According to film trade analyst Komal Nahata, 92,000 movie tickets have been sold on PVR alone till 9 am on Thursday. While Bhul Bhulaya 2 sold 92,000 tickets on PVR, INOX and Cinépolis till the day before its release.

Bhul Bulaiya 2 did well at the box office. In such a scenario, if we see the number of Brahmastra tickets sold only in PVR, then accordingly, the error is much higher than 2, as the figure sold in other theaters is not added.

Brahmastra can open so many crores

Box Office India reports say that Ranveer and Alia’s Brahmastra may do around Rs 30 crore on its first day of release. These figures are said to be the film’s earnings based on advance bookings. If this happens, Brahmastra will prove to be the biggest opening film of this year after KGF2. Film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel also believes that based on advance bookings, the film could do more than Rs 20 crore over the weekend.
