Anurag Kashyap had two marriages

Anurag Kashyap also has a brother and a sister. Brother’s name is Abhinav Kashyap and sister’s name is Abhinav Kashyap. Anurag Kashyap did his primary education from Green School in Dehradun and Scindia School in Gwalior. He then went to Delhi University’s Hansraj College for his studies. After leaving here he joined the theatre. Anurag Kashyap was first married to Aarti Bajaj, but later he married actress Kalki Koechlin.

For this reason he took admission in biology at Hansraj College of Delhi University. But I wanted to go back to the acting world during my college days. In 1993, after graduation, he joined a street theater group ‘Jan Natya Manch’.

Anurag left home and came to Mumbai with 5 thousand rupees

Anurag Kashyap attended the International Film Festival of India and watched more than 55 films in just 10 days. During this time, he was greatly influenced by Vittorio De Sica’s film ‘Bicycle Thieves’ and then set his sights on filmmaking. Fascinated by this picture, he paid 5 thousand rupees and moved to Mumbai in 1993.

First work in Prithvi Theatre

During his struggling days, Anurag Kashyap spent months on the streets of Mumbai. He took his first job at Prithvi Theater in Mumbai, but his first play remained unfinished due to the director’s death. But the turning point in his life came when Manoj Bajpayee offered him to write a film for Ram Gopal Varma. The name of this film was ‘Satya’. This film proved to be a super hit at the box office. However, Anurag Kashyap’s first film ‘Paanch’ is yet to release.
