Chandrachud Singh was born on 11 October 1968 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. After finishing school and college, Chandrachud Singh started teaching music at Basant Valley School in Delhi. He then also taught children’s history at Doon School. Chandrachud Singh was preparing to become an IAS along with his children’s studies.
Chandrachud Singh wanted to become an IAS officer before joining films. For this he was also preparing for the UPSC exam. Chandrachud came to Mumbai in 1988. In 1990, he got a film, which was stopped in the middle after half of its shooting. After that he did not get any film for 5 years.
